AGM and Associated Reports
The next AGM is on Friday 30th March 2012 in Rotorua
All members are welcome and encouraged to have input into the AGM to be held 30th March 2012. Remits for the AGM are invited. Please submit remits to Lynette Lennox, secretary@ivnnz.co.nz by 24 February 2012.
Remits received to date -
Motion for amendment to 11.1 (b) - remove the following statement: ‘The 3 other positions are Private healthcare representative, Website /Newsletter editor, Marketing officer.’ Reason for amendment: The IVNNZ Inc. Society's executive of 3 other positions should be flexible positions, based on the needs identified by the committee and members.
The IVNNZ rules state: Any member wishing to give notice of any motion for consideration at the annual general meeting shall forward written notice of the same to the Secretary not less than fourteen clear days before the date of the meeting. The executive may consider all such notices of motion and shall provide recommendations to members in respect thereof.
Any proposed motion to amend or replace these rulesshall be signed by at least 3 members and given in writingto the Secretary at least fourteen clear days before thegeneral meeting at which the motion is to be considered,and accompanied by a written explanation of the reasonsfor the proposal.
Election of Officers and Executive to join the committee
Written nominations for nominees under Rule 11.1,accompanied by the written consent of each nominee,shall be received by the secretary and shall be posted onthe website not less than fourteen clear days before thedate of the annual general meeting.
