Abstract Submission
"Raising the Standard towards Intravenous Excellence".
IVNNZ Inc. is calling for groups and/or individuals who wish to submit an oral presentation or poster display at the conference. While ideally related to intravenous therapy your abstract can be wide and varied - for example, case studies, education, learning from error, advances in technology, or highlighting a process/system in your area of employment.
Our focus of this conference is on how you have raised the standard of intravenous care in your practice and in the future. Our hope is that challenges for intravenous nursing practice are identified and innovative solutions for infusion therapy are generated to respond to these challenges. Sharing our experiences contributes to improvements in patient care. Here is your chance to share your work.

The closing date for submissions is 31st January 2012 and applicants will be advised regarding the outcome by 14 February 2012. All abstracts will be peer reviewed.
Abstract submission is an excellent opportunity to achieve and/or obtain your competency within your organsations PDRP. Click here to view the NZ Nursing Council competencies.
There are generous financial prizes for IVNNZ Inc. members for best oral and post poster presentations.
Poster presentations - no larger than 1 metre x 1 metre. Your poster should be a good advertisment for your paper and only contain the essence of it. Your poster should be readable from a distance of 1.5m, therefore printed text should be not less than 6mm high. Click here if you wish to view the IVNNZ Inc. poster judging criteria
Oral presentations - a 20 minute time period is allocated for your presentation, there will be additional time allocated for questions. The title, abstract and presenter biography details that you provide will be given to conference delegates in the programme.
